Sorry norsk, those last 3 minutes were a giant heart attack

The Wild needed extra men to beat Crow, though. And Rozsival is done. Here’s the NSFLunch still of his injury, and video, if you really want to watch.
Go Hawks!

Those last 3 minutes hurt more than it would’ve been had it been 4-1, knowing we got that close to tying it and just coming up short. OF course I’m not happy at all with how this series played out I’m glad we were able to make the play offs after what happened in December and January. I feel we have a bright future ahead. Good luck against who ever you all play in the conference finals.

That had me squeamish last night. I’d say that Rozie’s career is probably over after his foot tried to skate the opposite way of his body.
If you’d told me early in the first round how good we’d look going into the conf. finals I would’ve told you to GTFO. But damn it if we don’t look pretty darn good. I did have to take extra blood pressure pills during those last 3 minutes though!
Go Hawks!

The Nashville series had me worried. But the Hawks showed their true depth. The talent and coaching on that team are amazing. But yeah, I thought it was all over when Hossa potted that empty netter. But still, it took extra skaters to make it close.

I’m looking forward to the Conf. Finals. Due to travel, the Wild series was the first series where we didn’t go to a game in a number of years. On second though, given that fact and the outcome, maybe we should quit going! Nah.
Funny thing is, my fiancee and I try to predict the final score between the second and third. I said 3-2 with us scoring an empty netter to go up 3-1 and the Wild scoring after to make it 3-2 and it would end that way. I was semi-right and not far off.
So Timonen will get more ice time and who does Q-Ball call to fill the hole? Cumiskey?

I don’t know the team well enough to guess who might step up. But Timo has played well for such a youngster, and I think he will definitely be an asset.
What has always struck me about this team is how they never seem to panic. Everything seems methodical, and they're almost always where they need to be. And Crow is on form, maybe the best he's ever played. It's fun to watch them play. What a team.

A lot of people don’t particularly like Timonen but I think he’s been pretty good since joining the Hawks. It’s good to have another veteran around. For a team whose “veterans” are generally still fairly young, they are a very level headed and calm bunch. I think it’s a credit to them but also to the incredible coaching staff. I love Crawford (despite my calling for pulling him on a lot of occasions) he just makes me nervous because he’s either going to be great or pretty weak. I’m glad he’s finally gotten it together when it mattered.
